The Faculty of Physics (University of Bucharest) organizes on Friday, June 20th, 2014, the annual scientific session celebrating 150 years since the founding of the University of Bucharest.
The event is open to all physicists – teachers, researchers and students – in Bucharest and in the country.
The sections covered within the scientific session are:
- Optics, spectroscopy, plasma and lasers.
- Biophysics. Medical Physics.
- Atomic Physics, Molecular Physics and Astrophysics.
- Physics of the atmosphere and earth. Environment.
- Solid State Physics and Materials Science
- Physical education
- Nuclear physics and elementary particles
- Polymer Physics
- Physics and technology of alternative energy sources
- Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics
The abstracts (in English, maximum 300 words) should be submitted online no later than June 9th, 2014, at: http://conferinta.fizica.net.
The participation fee is 20 lei and can be paid on the day of the conference.
